Free Webinar: Blade Aeromechanic Analysis
Join us Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. (U.S. Central Time)
Host: Jonathan Wade
Blade Aeromechanics are a critical aspect when performing the detailed design of any turbine or compressor flowpath. Blade aeromechanics focus on a balance of the stresses in blades from pull loads and fluid forces and the modal response of the blades based on upstream and downstream excitations and avoiding those interactions to avoid high cycle fatigue failure. This webinar will focus on the effect of various blade designs and required sealing features and how it affects the aeromechanic performance of the turbine blades. It will take a look at how to perform and set up blade analysis models and how best to evaluate and ensure that proper design margins and safety factors are met to ensure successful operation of various turbomachinery.
