This information session will cover the details of the upcoming H2HD-REFUEL JIP hosted by Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). SwRI is excited to kick off this consortium to answer some of industry’s research questions about hydrogen vehicle refueling and connecting the vehicle OEMs to the hydrogen refueling providers. The goal and approach are summarized below.
Hydrogen Heavy-Duty Refueling Equipment Facilities Utilization and Experimentation Lab (H2HD REFUEL)
- Goal: The goal of the program is to fuel the growth and acceptance of the heavy-duty hydrogen industry through collaborative targeted research to enhance the state-of-the-art hydrogen refueling station (HRS) technologies and systems that benefit vehicle OEMs, station operators and suppliers.
- Approach: The joint industry project (JIP) will include a mix of experimental programs to quantify and compare hydrogen technology performance and paper studies to model system performance, evaluate up-and-coming technologies and consolidate useful information members can use for future HRS designs.
During this information session, SwRI will answer any questions by industry. The session will be recorded and shared with those that cannot attend.
