Free Webinar: Liquid Propulsion Systems Propellant Tank and Pressurization System Modeling

Join us for a free webinar Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. (U.S. Central Time).

Host: Ellen Smith

Propellants in liquid propulsion systems must satisfy multiple requirements for optimal vehicle performance. Boil-off must be minimized so the propellants are storable relative to the mission duration, and the propellant temperature and pressure must be within narrow ranges permitted by the engine turbopump. Propellant tank modeling is used to design the pressurization, vent, and insulation systems that satisfy these requirements. This webinar will introduce the modeling techniques used throughout the vehicle design process to define these critical systems.
