Our data acquisition framework uses network fabric devices such as routers, switches, and smart hubs. This allows test engineers to create their own delivery networks to acquire data on top of an existing network backbone. These specialized networks provide full control to enforce quality of service (QoS), multicast, and other routing functions specific to client needs. This solution is particularly useful when “untuned” networking cannot adequately address the throughput and latency delivery requirement of some network systems. The SwRI framework provides building blocks that perform like typical items such as interfaces, links, and more.
