Diesel fuel pump injector calibration is critical to ensure performance, whether it be post-rebuild or benchmark calibration. Adjustable fuel pumps can be recalibrated back to factory performance specifications and non-adjustable pump and injector performance can be verified. Components can also be disassembled and inspected with metrology, tribology and photo lab imaging services to investigate wear and points of failure.

Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) offers test bench services to calibrate diesel fuel pumps, injectors and related components. Our technicians and engineers provide added expertise for detailed reporting on a variety of tests. We take precision to the next level by carefully disassembling pumps and injectors to ensure a full internal inspection. Our process includes sending components to our metrology department for detailed measurements, followed by 3D scanning technology to capture the components before and after. We also send these components to our photo lab for high-resolution imaging. This will ensure a precise measurement of the scar diameter of each component. Our test benches include the following:

Custom Test Profiles
We can develop custom tests to suit client needs. Our software is capable of programming the drive signal with 11 parameters to simulate the exact signal on a vehicle. Examples include:
