SwRI’s Rhodium™ virtual screening software used this 3D model of a SARS-CoV-2 protease to evaluate millions of drug compounds to identify therapies effective against COVID-19. Rhodium is now being used to attack the virus from a different angle. It is evaluating compounds that stop a virus protein from entering human cells.
