We develop methods for analysis and routine testing of energetic residues in water, soil, biota, and other media. To meet the growing need to characterize mixed waste and radioactive soil, our laboratory is also dedicated to geophysical testing. The technical staff has more than 15 years experience in the methods used for these analyses. All methods follow the criteria set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (SW-846 and Contract Laboratory Protocol) methods. SwRI maintains a Radioactive Material License that allows for geotechnical testing of radioactive samples.
