SwRI is internationally recognized for expertise in algorithm development, modeling and simulation, and fundamental analysis related to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). We develop models that help clients understand flow through complex devices, dispersion of chemical species downwind, airflow distribution around aircraft, multiphase flow in piping systems, blast wave propagation, and much more. We can develop, enhance, and apply CFD codes to existing or new classes of problems that clients may need to address and can accomplish this within the client's cost and schedule constraints.
