Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) uses numerical methods and algorithms in the design, application and performance evaluation of gas turbines and piping systems. We use CFD to solve turbomachinery and fluid/thermal problems in tandem with experienced staff and experimental verification of results. Among other phenomena, our internal flow investigations focus on blockages, pressure/velocity profiles, thermal transients, turbine and compressor performance, internal pipe flows, fluid-structure interaction, heat transfer and combustion modeling.
