Our biomedical scientists work with collagen matrix to develop wound healing solutions and other biomedical tools. We developed a collagen-based biomask to help regenerate facial tissue after traumatic injuries. To create the biomask, a collagen matrix is electrochemically deposited onto a gold-coated facial profile, generated using 3D printing. Collagen is also used for dental restorative materials.
