ITS Data Warehousing & Data Mining
We develop a number of data mining and analytics solutions for use in motor vehicles, including how accelerometer sensors in most smartphones can determine if a phone is located in a moving vehicle. SwRI also has extensive experience in warehousing intelligent transportation system (ITS) data for transportation agencies. Our work with autonomous vehicles includes research predicting when driven vehicles are about to commit traffic violations.
