SwRI developed Floodlight, a machine learning-based tool, to automate and speed up the signal quality review of gas chromatography time of flight mass spectrometry data, shown here. These chromatograms can be used to identify the chemical components found in consumer products, but the data must be processed to identify and eliminate spurious signals.
